Oh, they do huh?

Are you an American? Did you know that 1.5 billion people hate you? Yes, 1.5 billion people hate you. What did you do? Nothing. Besides being born. Oh, you may tolerate bacon, beer and gays too.  “They” hate you for that too when they’re not hating you for existing.

Just ask Chris Moran (heh) of Winter Haven who writes:

Whether it’s our love (or acceptance) of pork, alcohol, gays and Lesbians, or even co-educational classes, we are hated, and we haven’t even touched our religious beliefs yet.

[some blabbering about all the good we’ve done them despite their rampant hatred of all that is good and right (aka: America)]

So the truth is: Burn or don’t burn the Quran, the Muslims will still hate us for existing.

I suppose I can now start claiming that approximately 2 billion people hate me too.  My proof of this hatred? This guy. He’s a Christian and he’s against women’s rights. Ergo, 2 billion people hate me.

O’Donnell Aide: Obama “still” a Muslim

by Karen on September 20, 2010

Obama laughing

An aide to Christine O’Donnell seems to be a bit convinced that Obama has spent the last 20 or so years fabricating being a Christian and is, in fact, “still” a Muslim:

Moseley asserted that because Obama had recited to a reporter the Muslim call to prayer (which he apparently learned as a child in Indonesia) he must be a Muslim: “According to Islamic scholars, reciting this Muslim declaration of faith makes one a Muslim.” … Maintaining that Obama attended school in Indonesia as a Muslim, Mosely noted, “Once a Muslim, always a Muslim.”

Why does he think Obama would do such a thing? Taqiyya!:

Islamic teaching encourages strategic deception, when necessary, to advance Islam throughout the world. It is possible that a Muslim could intentionally pose as a convert, in a church that talked about Jesus as only a moral teacher, as Muslims already believe.

You can read the whole thing over at Mother Jones. It’s worth the click. Trust me.

The would-be Quran burner, Terry Jones, is looking at a huge bill from the Gainesville Police for the security they provided during his three ring circus: The Gainesville Police Department said it spent more than $100,000 while the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office spent an estimated $80,000 during the weekend of the planned demonstration. "We have [...]

robert ingersoll

From “The Gods” by Robert Ingersoll: We have heard talk enough. We have listened to all the drowsy, idealess, vapid sermons that we wish to hear. We have read your bible and the works of your best minds. We have heard your prayers, your solemn groans and your reverential amen’s. All these amount to less [...]

Loophole in the French law?

mom & daughter in surgical mask

The French senate recently voted to outlaw religious freedom for French muslim women who cover their faces in public.  Women caught wearing them in public face fines and/or imprisonment. So, what’s a muslimah to do? Wear a surgical mask in place of her niqab of course:

Church leaves Baptist Convention

One of the biggest Baptist churches here in Texas has left the Baptist Convention a little over a century after joining it. The reason? They, along with another Baptist church in the area, do not discriminate against people and have openly gay members in their congregation. Brent Beasley, Broadway’s pastor, called the break “sad” but [...]

A brief interview of Nate Phelps about his family, the notoriously hateful Phelps of Westboro Baptist Church, whom he refers to as a cult: I like his definition of evil which is “when people deliberately engage in behaviour that is cruel or destructive to others”.

Church: We’d rather have our money

Thumbnail image for Church: We’d rather have our money

It recently came to light that no Catholic church in Belgium was safe for children with every church having at least one child rapist on the dole.  In fact, 13 children had commited suicide with six others attempting to commit suicide.   To say that people were upset is an understatement. The church has reponded [...]

9/11: No Muslims Anywhere

September 15, 2010
Thumbnail image for 9/11: No Muslims Anywhere

Not only is it “insensitive” for there to be an Islamic community center near the WTC site (never-mind that there was a prayer room in the WTC), it’s also apparently insensitive to show Muslims doing anything on or around 9/11: The Portland Press Herald has apologized to its readers for publishing images of Muslims celebrating the [...]
