clown-pie

Am I the only non-Republican who’s hoping no one wins the primaries so we can see the GOP Clown Car pie-fight it out at their convention?

Seriously.

I want to see that dipshit Perry make his case. I want Bootstrap Paul to defend his race war. Hell, I wanna see if ole Newt bothers to show up. And Romney & his magic underwear? Sell that one to the Protestants, darling.

And yes, I’m going nihilistic this coming election year.  Hateful cynicism feels better than depressed hope.

Much ado has been made about how Muslims overseas have been burning American flags in protest of American assholery towards Islam these last couple of months. I say ‘let ‘em burn it’ because it doesn’t matter. America has a much more important item in it’s possession. It’s called the constitution. And today is it’s ‘birthday’. [...]

Stewart: Beyond the Palin

September 16, 2010

Satirical piece by the Daily Show on how Democrats can still mess things up in Delaware and essentially hand the seat over to tea partier Christine O’Donnell: The best part is the nightmare scenario: OLIVER: It’s a good point, but please, gentlemen, I appreciate your speculation, but you’re forgetting that the Democrats are a dynamic, [...]

Thumbnail image for Dick Armey declares war on choice

Tea Partier Dick Armey has promised that should the Republicans regain a majority they will once again make it a priority to undermine reproductive healthcare for women. After stating that social issues wouldn’t matter if the country became insolvent, he specifically referred to abortion stating (caution: there’s a video at the link that starts automatically): [...]

Lions & Tigers & Palin, Oh My!

Thumbnail image for Lions & Tigers & Palin, Oh My!

I’m probably going to have to spend this coming fall ignoring politics as much as possible because it looks like the Democratic party is going to be playing “but, our opponents are worse!!”: “You have a good opportunity to remind your neighbors, your friends and your family members about who the real Republican Party is,” [...]
